- Develop and maintain appropriate Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 schedules as required by project scope and reporting requirements.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, construction, inspection, testing and commissioning activities into project schedules.
- Establish approved baseline schedules and maintain schedule revisions in accordance with project controls requirements.
Progress Monitoring & Schedule Control:
- Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify schedule variances, slippage, and emerging constraints.
- Track critical path activities and identify activities that may affect contractual or project completion dates.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly project progress updates and planning reports.
- Develop S-curves, progress measurement tools and look-ahead schedules, including short-term planning horizons where applicable.
- Analyse schedule slippage and support the Project Manager in developing recovery, mitigation and acceleration plans.
- Follow up outstanding activities, commitments and interfaces that may affect project delivery.
Project Controls, Reporting & Coordination:
- Establish and maintain project planning and reporting systems appropriate to each project.
- Collect, validate and consolidate progress information from engineering, procurement, operations, construction and other project teams.
- Prepare project dashboards showing schedule performance, milestones, progress trends, key risks and constraints.
- Provide Planned versus Actual analysis and schedule performance information to Management and the Project Manager.
- Support Earned Value Management and other project performance measurement activities where applicable.
- Participate in project planning meetings, progress meetings, and schedule review sessions.
- Coordinate planning inputs from Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Operations, HSE, QA/QC and Finance.
Risk, Change & Delay Management:

- Obtain and validate progress updates, delivery dates, and schedule commitments from subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor procurement and material delivery milestones that may affect project execution.
- Identify interface issues between vendors, subcontractors and project disciplines and escalate them appropriately.
Documentation & Project Close-Out:
-
Maintain current project schedules, schedule revisions, progress records and planning documentation.
-
Ensure project planning records are properly controlled, traceable and available for reporting and audit purposes.
