Project Monitoring Officer (PMO)
We are seeking a Project Monitoring Officer (PMO) to be based on-site in Lagos to monitor engineering projects, maintain accurate records, conduct site visits, and support regular reporting. The role involves tracking progress, following up on action items, and ensuring compliance with project procedures.
Responsibilities
- Track project progress and update status reports
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables
- Conduct site visits and document project observations
- Follow up with project teams on assigned action items
- Assist in identifying project risks, delays and escalation points
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Support weekly and monthly project reports
- Ensure compliance with project procedures and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field
- Basic knowledge of project management principles, particularly in the Engineering sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, organisational and reporting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
