About the Role

Xylem is seeking a Project Manager to lead project execution for water solutions. You will organize the project execution team, tailor deliverables, manage schedules and documentation, and serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

What You'll Do

  • Organize the project execution team, gather documentation, and develop action plans to execute the project.
  • Review project documents (contracts, plans, specifications) and tailor deliverables accordingly.
  • Ensure Customer Support enters orders into ERP; verify PO details (scope, price, etc.).
  • Host project kickoff meetings and align team with deliverables and timelines.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and colleagues; manage submittals and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for buyout items and release equipment after approvals.
  • Manage intercompany purchase orders and ensure production readiness; procure products from appropriate parties.
  • Partner with procurement to maintain project profitability and manage third-party costs.
  • Ensure project schedules are followed; maintain customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Obtain necessary testing approvals and, if needed, work with engineering/operations to secure approvals.
  • Develop O&Ms and ensure proper delivery, invoicing, and shipping; coordinate with freight forwarders on delivery timelines.
  • Manage risk, support start-up and commissioning, and facilitate project close-out and handover to aftermarket.
  • Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree with PMP (or similar designation) preferred; 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on project management experience in water, industrial, construction, or mining environments.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with equipment, infrastructure, or site operations in fast-paced, rugged settings.
  • Superior customer support, effective written and verbal communication, and strong problem-solving/negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.

Nice to Have

  • PMP certification (preferred) and/or experience with ERP systems and procurement processes.
  • Experience with field-based technical projects, vendor management, and commissioning activities.
  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus bonus.
