About the Role
The Project Manager leads the implementation of Tyler software for new and existing accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. With growing knowledge, the PM will own one or more projects from contract signing through transition to the support team, and may manage a high volume of smaller, faster-moving projects. The role requires frequent collaboration with clients and Tyler teams, and involves travel to client sites.
What You'll Do

Become knowledgeable about Tyler's implementation steps and processes to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery at client sites.

Develop implementation project plans and officially start projects with kickoff meetings.

Manage all project aspects: resource coordination, activity planning and tracking, release planning, milestone reporting, budget and scope management, and risk identification.

Guide clients through release planning, monitor hours, and submit progress reports by due dates.

Maintain proactive communication among project team members and stakeholders; ensure deliverable quality and timely issue resolution.

Act as client liaison to collect feedback and resolve issues; publish project status updates and schedule changes across departments.

Schedule planning sessions with client leaders to define the project plan and scope; coordinate cross-department resources.

Support a smooth transition from implementation to support after project completion; ensure timely revenue delivery and forecast updates.

Maintain the project calendar, identify add-on opportunities when appropriate, and work toward PMP certification.

Travel to client sites as needed (75-90% in some months).

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.

Software development life cycle knowledge and strong planning, organizational, and follow-through skills.

Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication.

Proficiency with IT infrastructure concepts; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

Strong decision-making, problem-solving, analytical abilities in a technical environment.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Positive, professional attitude; strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Valid driver’s license and a valid passport or ability to obtain one.

Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 75-90% in busy periods).

PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP credentials.

Salary range: USD 74,575 – 84,000 per year before geographic adjustments.
