About the Role A Project Manager responsible for developing project plans, scope of services, schedules, budgets and execution plans for the front-end engineering for consulting engineering heavy industrial projects. This position requires someone with significant project management experience. Manage all aspects of business projects from inception through execution.
What You'll Do
- Develop and document the scope of work for projects and front-end engineering efforts.
- Understand project success criteria and ensure client expectations are met.
- Develop and track project costs; manage budgets and schedules.
- Identify and communicate changes to the statement of work (SOW).
- Respond to client issues and needs and build trust by delivering value.
- Ensure client policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
- Review and manage all project deliverables; secure resources (drawings, reports, site visits) as needed.
- Monitor progress and quality, control project costs, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure PO's are received from the client before work begins and invoices are paid timely; ensure services are rendered within approved budget.
- Anticipate future work arising from ongoing projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering.
- Project Management experience on engineering projects.
- Knowledge of front-end engineering and detailed engineering process.
- Proven Customer Account Manager with experience in developing opportunities within existing clients.
- Demonstrated experience driving projects within budget from initiation through a successful and timely conclusion.
- Ability to coordinate and supervise project implementation, control costs, monitor progress and quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationships.
- Experience in consulting engineering, power, and/or heavy industrial industry.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $165,000 - $195,000 per year (USD).
