About the Role This role is responsible for executing project scrubs across the Entergy Enterprise. It includes conducting SME interviews, developing initial hypotheses and required analyses, and presenting outcomes in problem-solving sessions. The project scrub lead will facilitate workshops, help size potential value, and ensure quality deliverables are completed within established timeframes. Travel is expected. What You'll Do
- Execute project scrubs for assigned projects across the Entergy Enterprise.
- Identify SMEs with Scrub Execution, conduct interviews, and refine hypotheses with the project team.
- Create PowerPoint and fact-based presentations for problem-solving sessions.
- Facilitate scrub workshops with Scrub Execution and assist in sizing workshop-generated value, capital headroom, and enablers.
- Consolidate ideas from workshops with the project team to estimate value and enablers.
- Coordinate with functional departments to meet corporate standards and guidelines.
- Identify and communicate issues that could impact project performance; drive issue resolution.
- Support the project team in following up to ensure ideas are implemented.
- Capture lessons learned and share best practices; promote safe behavior on the project.
- Work in both office and field settings; support travel up to 50%. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent related work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum experience: Project Manager: 2+ years; Project Manager Sr: 4+ years; Project Manager, Sr Lead: 6+ years in project management, construction management, electric utility industry, or related field.
- History of safe performance and active safety involvement; strong desire for a safer workplace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications, processes, software and equipment.
- Understanding of PM principles and effective estimating practices; familiarity with industry best practices.
- Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership, team performance, service-minded approach, and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
- PMP certification preferred. Nice to Have
