About the Role OHB System AG in Bremen seeks an experienced Project Manager for Science, Exploration and Space Safety to lead the management of proposals and projects in Phases 0/A/B1 within the Directorate of Predevelopment. You will bridge scientific ambition with engineering feasibility, coordinating interdisciplinary teams to shape future missions and ensuring delivery on time, cost-effectively and to the highest quality. What You'll Do
- Responsible for project management for proposals and projects in Phases 0/A/B1.
- Be accountable for the cost, schedule and performance of studies or projects.
- Support the preparation and implementation of mission and system proposals.
- Analyse, define and agree requirements with the project team and the customer(s).
- Lead negotiations with customers, potential partners and suppliers.
- Strengthen relationships with clients and act as a liaison with key stakeholders in client organisations.
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective collaboration. What We're Looking For
- Degree in aerospace, engineering or a related field.
- Significant project management experience for Phase 0/A/B1 projects, preferably in science, exploration or space safety.
- Substantial experience dealing with ESA as a customer.
- Knowledge of space projects, systems and operations.
- Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals.
- Passion and knowledge of the space field.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong results orientation, operational efficiency and ability to make pragmatic, timely decisions.
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage. Nice to Have
