About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. The role oversees all phases of the local implementation—from initiation and requirements gathering to solutioning, system deployment, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and SAP transformation experience are required to ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week at ContiTech sites in the United States. What You'll Do
- Project Leadership & Governance: Lead local end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from initiation through post-production support. Establish local project governance, communication plans, reporting structures, and escalation processes. Develop and maintain detailed local project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. Monitor local project performance and ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities. Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide executive-level status reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive sponsors, business leaders, functional teams, IT teams, and external implementation partners. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Drive decision-making and issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Program Delivery: Coordinate functional and technical workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, and others as needed. Oversee local project deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities. Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project management best practices. Manage scope, change requests, and project documentation.
- Risk & Quality Management: Identify local project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project quality metrics and ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
- Change Management & Training: Partner with organizational change management teams to support user adoption. Ensure training plans, communications, and readiness activities are executed effectively. Support business process transformation and organizational alignment efforts.
- Testing & Deployment: Oversee system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment planning. Coordinate cutover activities and go-live readiness assessments. Lead post-go-live stabilization efforts and transition to operational support teams.
