An established and highly regarded construction and interiors business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its growing delivery team.
The business specialises in the delivery of high-end and super-prime residential projects, alongside selected commercial and hospitality schemes, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, design and attention to detail. Projects are delivered from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with leading architects, interior designers, consultants and private clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who is passionate about high-quality construction and wants to work on prestigious projects across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of high-end residential projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Manage projects in the region of £1m–£10m+, depending on experience and project pipeline.

Develop and manage detailed project programmes, ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achieved.

Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist trades.

Manage project resources, labour, materials and procurement requirements.

Coordinate architects, interior designers, structural engineers, M&E consultants and other project stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with private clients and their representatives, providing a professional and proactive service throughout the project.

Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, design information and technical details.

Identify design, construction and programme risks and implement effective solutions.

Work closely with the commercial team to monitor project costs, variations, valuations and financial performance.

Ensure all works are completed to the required quality, programme and contractual standards.

Oversee health & safety, quality assurance and environmental requirements throughout the project.

Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered in accordance with programme and specification.

Lead regular progress meetings and provide clear reporting to senior management and clients.

Manage snagging, commissioning, practical completion and final handover.

Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all necessary records are kept throughout the build.

Support the development of long-term relationships with clients, designers, consultants and supply-chain partners.

The Projects

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on bespoke and high-value residential developments, including substantial refurbishments, extensions, structural alterations and luxury fit-outs.

Previous projects within the business include 6,000 sq. ft. private residences, complex structural alterations, basement works, major M&E upgrades, bespoke joinery and highly detailed luxury finishes.

The role will suit someone who enjoys working on technically challenging projects where quality, detail and finish are paramount.

Candidate Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Project Manager within high-end residential construction.

Strong experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or new-build projects.
-
Ideally experienced on projects valued at £1m+.

Excellent knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and project delivery.

Strong understanding of design coordination and technical construction.
-
Experience working alongside architects, interior designers and specialist consultants.

Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
-
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control.
-
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
-
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
-
A meticulous eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality.

SMSTS and relevant CSCS qualification.
-
Relevant construction qualification such as NVQ Level 6, HNC/HND, degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
