Job title: Project Manager
About the Role Qinetiq is seeking a Project Manager to support various projects across multiple sites including Malvern, Farnborough, Portsmouth, Bristol, Shoeburyness, Amesbury and other locations. The role focuses on delivering project management excellence within our defence and technology teams, coordinating across sites and functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution across diverse programs
- Manage scope, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including logistics, scheduling, and costing
- Ensure governance and adherence to internal processes across multiple sites
- Report progress to senior leadership and escalate issues as needed
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within technology or defence environments
- Strong planning, organizational, and multi-site coordination skills
- Stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to juggle priorities and manage competing demands across a portfolio
Nice to Have
- Experience with integrated logistics support
- Background in programme management or senior project management roles
- Exposure to export controls, compliance, or related governance matters
