About the Role

The role leads OSBU connectivity projects within the plant, aligning with BU strategy and coordinating with GPM/GPM leadership to ensure product and marketing efforts support the unit's mission and goals.

What You'll Do

  • Execute OSBU connectivity projects, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement inside the plant, linking business unit strategy to product and marketing execution.
  • Handle customer plant visits, present and promote plant capabilities, and coordinate with GPM leaders to present product roadmaps and capability during visits.
  • Lead and coordinate Plant Operation Teams and BU to offer solutions to optimize cost and lead time, increasing the business pipeline.
  • Address escalations from GPM/GSM and coordinate with plant teams to provide quick support, ensuring quality, delivery, and lead time expectations are met.
  • Coordinate S&OP for new product planning strategy and capacity loading to stage material and capacity at factory based on new project launch status; work with planning and GPM on capital investments and capacity expansion.
  • Support operations to review excess material and develop disposition proposals to minimize scrap and order cancellations.
  • Collaborate with Plant Finance to review the new investment PAR before new project launch; compare DMF COGS/Profit vs Actual when handover to operation.
  • Act as project lead to drive cross-functional teams to identify risks, challenges, escalation points, solutions, and action plans; identify NPI process gaps and seek to streamline/optimize processes and product safety launches.
  • Support GPM in managing product Phase 8 to EOL activities in the plant.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, CRM, and SAP.
  • Understanding of detailed operations activities and ability to handle a small-scale operations cell.
  • Knowledge of costing in both NPI and mass production.
  • Ability to champion profit and ROI on behalf of global product managers to engage the plant and lead cost reduction, capacity planning, and quality improvement to exceed business plan goals.
  • Knowledge of PBM and ability to apply PBM through the entire business cycle and daily activities.
