About the Role The Project Manager will plan and deliver IT Infrastructure projects (end user computing, hosting & storage, and telecoms) in line with Shell project management standards, working with infrastructure service providers. This global, remote role requires leading project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and value delivery. What You'll Do
- Define, document and safely execute infrastructure projects across a global, remote scope following the Shell Project Delivery Framework.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholders; provide regular progress reports to customers and steering groups.
- Collaborate with Shell business managers and external service providers (e.g., TCS, T-Systems, AT&T) and other market providers.
- Estimate project costs, timescales, and resource requirements; evaluate technical options and escalate as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Information Risk Management requirements and secure-by-design deliverables; work with IRM staff.
- Develop and maintain IT infrastructure standards, guidelines, tools, and control structures; lead and supervise project staff and contractors.
- Drive change management and benefit realization; manage issues proactively and reactively. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects (end-user computing, hosting & storage, telecoms) in a global/remote environment.
- Strong program/project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk and change management.
- Familiarity with Shell Project Delivery Framework and Information Risk Management processes.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external service providers; strong stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of security-by-design and IT infrastructure standards. Nice to Have
- Experience working with IT infrastructure service providers (e.g., TCS, T-Systems, AT&T) and developing infrastructure standards.
- Global/remote delivery experience.
