Job title: Project Manager

About the Role The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of planning orders for assigned product portfolio(s) from order entry to installation completion, and is operationally and financially accountable for successful project execution, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction while meeting company margin targets. The role also ensures the highest quality installation of Getinge equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions. The position will develop project timelines, assemble required project teams, visit construction sites, and maintain effective communication throughout the project.

What You'll Do

  • Determine staffing levels required for installations, schedule installation staff, and confirm staffing plans with customers, general contractors, and sales representatives. Coordinate integration schedule.
  • Ensure the quality of workmanship of installations and on-the-job training, and ensure proper use of tools, procedures, and paperwork per protocol.
  • Manage and evaluate external installation contractors (union and non-union) with on-site presence as needed.
  • Provide direction on installation of Getinge products and utilize the Project Management Tool for documentation, task updates, and schedules. Manage project budgets to meet profit targets.
  • Assist in design drawing review, approval, and final package distribution; monitor production schedules with supply chain to keep projects on track; maintain contact with Logistics for final shipment date.
  • Conduct pre-installation site inspections and ensure site readiness; work with sales during quoting for technical accuracy and configuration.
  • Perform installations and testing to Getinge specifications and verify equipment operability for Service handover; comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers, contractors, and Getinge personnel. Submit required reports within deadlines and manage expenses per policy. Promote Getinge products and services and participate in training as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; at least 5 years of related experience applying technical principles, practices, and procedures for the product line.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant business unit functions and cross-group dependencies.
  • Ability to lead project teams and provide input on technical and business solutions; generate relevant reports.
  • Sound business judgment and ability to interpret extensive data to support decisions.
  • Advanced to intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to interpret blueprints and installation drawings.
  • Must be able to safely and correctly handle materials and equipment per Getinge standards.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $97,000 - $120,000 annually; 10% STI (STIP) available.
