About the Role The Project Manager for Transmission Line and Substation will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom-line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines, with potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. In this role you will execute projects with substantial impact within various communities and manage a diversity of projects within the electric grid space, including both innovative and proven technologies. There is also potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. Travel to project sites is expected at about 10% of time. What You'll Do
- Actively promotes the safety culture.
- Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work.
- Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
- Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
- Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
- Acts as a project manager and manages a project team (team composition may vary by project). What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
- Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
- PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license. Compensation & Benefits
