About this role

Project Manager Enrollment Solutions

Move ideas forward. Help shape the student experience.

Iowa State University is seeking a Project Manager (Program Specialist IV) to turn Enrollment Management priorities into results. As part of our Enrollment Solutions team, you’ll lead complex initiatives, connect people and technology, and improve enrollment processes that support our Cyclones in the Making.

We’re a “creative yes” organization. We approach challenges with curiosity, explore what’s possible, and work together to find a path forward. If you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity and helping ambitious ideas take shape, you’ll find meaningful work here.

Your impact

You’ll shape both the projects we deliver and how we deliver them. Working with Enrollment Management leadership, campus partners, technical teams, and vendors, you will:

  • Build stronger project practices. Develop standards, tools, and processes for evaluating, prioritizing, and managing work across Enrollment Management.
  • Turn strategy into action. Lead projects from planning through implementation, defining scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and outcomes.
  • Keep priorities moving. Coordinate a portfolio of initiatives, anticipate risks and dependencies, and help leaders make informed decisions.
  • Connect people and technology. Guide cross-functional teams through system implementations, integrations, and operational improvements.
  • Make change successful. Coordinate communication, testing, training, and launch readiness, then measure adoption and results.
  • Make progress clear. Create dashboards and reporting that highlight accomplishments, risks, and decisions needed.

What will help you thrive

You bring structure to complex work and build trust across teams. You ask thoughtful questions, communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical partners, and balance big-picture priorities with the details that keep projects moving. You find practical paths through challenges and help people embrace new ways of working.

Why Iowa State

Your work will help create a smoother, more connected experience for Cyclones in the Making as they explore Iowa State and take their next steps toward becoming students.

You’ll have opportunities to influence how Enrollment Management works, partner with university leaders and specialists, and see ideas through to everyday use. Conferences, training, and a national peer network will support your continued professional growth.

Bring your curiosity, judgment, and ability to make things happen. Help us turn a creative yes into meaningful progress.
