Project Manager – Digital & Agile Delivery

About the Role

Invent Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Digital & Agile Delivery to support a leading financial services client in the delivery of digital and technology projects.

The role will be responsible for coordinating multiple project workstreams, working closely with business and technology teams, managing project risks and dependencies, coordinating vendors, and driving delivery through testing, implementation and Go-Live.

The successful candidate should have strong project management experience, understand Agile ways of working, and be comfortable working across both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned digital and technology projects from planning through implementation and Go-Live.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.

• Coordinate business, technology, QA, operations and other stakeholders to keep delivery on track.

• Work closely with Product Owners and technical teams to support effective Agile delivery.

• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies where required and track sprint and delivery commitments.

• Coordinate vendors and third-party partners involved in project delivery.

• Follow up on risks, issues, dependencies and actions and ensure timely resolution.

• Coordinate SIT, UAT, training, production readiness, Go-Live and post-Go-Live activities.

• Prepare project status reports, dashboards and management updates.

• Support project governance forums and ensure agreed actions and decisions are followed through.

• Coordinate project sign-offs and Go/No-Go readiness.

• Manage changes to project scope, timelines and deliverables and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

• Track defects and outstanding issues through to resolution.

• Support transition of completed projects into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in financial services, banking, fintech or technology.

• Experience managing digital or technology projects through implementation and Go-Live.

• Good understanding and practical experience of Agile/Scrum delivery.

• Experience working with Product Owners, developers, QA and other cross-functional teams.

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.

• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and change.

• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT and production readiness activities.

• Strong communication, planning, coordination and reporting skills.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or other relevant certification is an added advantage.
