Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives within the banking sector. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and timelines while coordinating cross-functional teams across business, IT, and risk functions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables

Manage project plans, budgets, resources, and dependencies

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, IT, risk, and compliance
-
Ensure delivery in line with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AML, Basel, DORA)

Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
-
Drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication (incl. senior management)
-
Oversee vendor and third-party delivery where applicable
-
Ensure quality assurance, testing readiness, and successful implementation

Support change management and business adoption activities

Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with strategic goals
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in banking or financial services

Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory landscape

Experience delivering regulatory, risk, or technology transformation projects

Ability to manage complex, multi-stream projects in a matrix environment

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence)
