Job title: Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate non-critical projects in Craiova, Romania. You will apply project management and operational expertise to deliver aligned with contract requirements, customer expectations, and maximize cash flow and margin. You will work with engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and cross-functional teams, ensuring governance and compliance with Alstom’s processes.

What You'll Do

• Own and be QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning) accountable for project performance and optimize financial results (Margin & Cash).
• Own the Project Management Work Package (WP) and be accountable for all QCDP activities.
• Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and sub-system objectives allocation.
• Ensure proper transfer from tender to project.
• Define project objectives and main drivers to achieve customer satisfaction within contract.
• Plan and align core team staffing and resources; escalate if resources do not match project needs.
• Engage project teams to achieve objectives and foster strong teamwork.
• Synchronize internal partners and arbitrate when necessary.
• Manage customer and external stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, and Quality standards.
• Report project progress and KPIs to senior management with transparency.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience managing an operational scope.
• Experience working in and with multinational companies and navigating diverse business cultures.
• Knowledge of project management processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• An IPMA Level D (or equivalent) certification is desirable.
