About the Role As the Project Manager, you will be the face and voice of Customer Adaptation in product projects and introductions – locally in Gent and regionally with other Volvo plants. You will ensure CA is ready well in advance so new products and features can be introduced smoothly, translating project plans into concrete actions and prioritizations. What You'll Do
- Proactively prepare CA for future projects, so the impact on capacity, investments and personnel is known well ahead of time.
- Translate project plans and timings into concrete actions and priorities for the CA team.
- Build and maintain a strong network of stakeholders across the plant, region, and global organization to represent CA in decision-making.
- Analyze the impact of product and process changes on CA’s feasibility analyses, quotes, and design activities.
- Coordinate workload forecasting and resource planning for CA within the projects you are involved in.
- Track progress against project milestones, flag risks early, and escalate where needed.
- Report clearly and visually on CA status within the various projects. What We're Looking For
- Affinity with engineering, manufacturing, or customer adaptation processes, or genuine curiosity to learn.
- Experience with project management, ideally in a cross-functional or international environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate complex information for multiple audiences.
