Job title: Project Management Specialist – Real Estate Practice
About the Role Gibson Dunn is a leading global law firm, advising clients on significant transactions and disputes. The Project Management Specialist will report to the Head of Real Estate Practice Administration and join the team that is providing operational, administrative, and strategic support to the Global Real Estate practice and its most senior members.
What You'll Do
- Support business functions and operations for the Real Estate Practice's senior stakeholders, helping coordinate and execute strategic initiatives across the practice.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with partners, associates, and administrative teams to ensure efficient delivery of real estate matters.
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, matter tracking, and process improvement initiatives.
- Help manage project workstreams, timelines, and risk escalation for high-priority matters.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of practice administration programs and workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in project management, practice administration, or equivalent role; prior experience in professional services or law firms is a plus.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and communication skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of real estate practices or transactions is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and time zones.
Nice to Have
- Prior law firm experience or exposure to legal practice administration.
- Familiarity with real estate transactions, leasing, or investment activities.
- Proficiency with project management tools and office software.
