How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Project Leader, Golf Partnerships will help shape, scale and execute high-impact golf partnerships internally across the enterprise and externally to the public and key customers. We are looking for a team-oriented, passionate and experienced individual to evaluate, structure and advance strategic golf partnerships to drive revenue, enhance the customer experience and support long-term growth initiatives. Strategic partnerships include but are not limited to property and IP rights holders, various brand ambassadors, content creation and experiential programming. A successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail and strong communication skills, along with initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to work proactively while collaborating in a team environment. This position reports to a Sr. Manger and is located in Atlanta; hours may vary and may include days, nights, weekends etc. Travel 25% domestic/ international required.

  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams within Delta (Sponsorship Marketing, Corporate Communications, Sales, Loyalty, Employee Engagement, Community Engagement and Government Affairs) to ensure the effective use of both hospitality and ambassador opportunities, including engagements, event tickets, employee activations.
  • Lead the day-to-day workflow and projects of Delta’s agency partners and contracted talent. Communicate regularly with various stakeholders to deliver against the objectives. Manage weekly meeting cadences with Partners and internal project owners
  • Work with talent representatives to manage and ensure fulfillment of contractual assets – appearance hours, production days, autographed merchandise etc.
  • Development of high-level presentations and materials for Executives.
  • Tracking and ownership of complex budgets.
  • Understand Delta’s Commercial objectives and ideate effective and efficient ways to achieve those goals through utilization of partnership assets.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • 4+ years Marketing, promotions and/or project management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Professional Golf ecosystem, YouTube Golf, golf content creators and golf influencer landscape.
  • Previous experience working with brand ambassador talent/personalities, properties and rights holders.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Candidate with working knowledge of Delta’s culture & corporate goals
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • High energy, positive, professional attitude, pride in work product and passion the job.
  • Agency experience or experience working with agency partners.
  • Executive interface experience which includes writing high level briefs, concise email correspondence, presenting and providing recommendations.
