Project Execution Engineer - We are looking for a Project Execution Engineer to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the execution of capital equipment projects, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, time and cost. You will act as an important connection between customers, Sales, Operations, Field Service and our factories, supporting projects from the handover after the sale through installation, commissioning and final delivery to the customer. You will also support customers during the initial stages of the equipment lifecycle, coordinate technical and logistical requirements and manage claims according to contractual conditions and Alfa Laval processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects ensuring compliance with agreed scope, schedule and cost.

• Coordinate installation, commissioning and other related field services.

• Act as the communication bridge between customers, Sales, Operations, Field Service Engineers and Alfa Laval factories.

• Follow up on technical and logistical aspects throughout project execution.

• Support customers during the initial stages of the equipment lifecycle.

• Manage customer claims according to contractual conditions and Alfa Laval processes.

• Support troubleshooting and coordinate technical questions arising during project execution.

• Review customer requirements, project specifications and performance standards.

• Develop and monitor project schedules and project progress.

• Ensure an effective handover and final delivery of the solution to the customer.

• Participate in project close-out discussions, managing pending items and contractual commitments with strong communication and negotiation skills.

• What you know

• A degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Electronics Engineering.

• Previous experience in project execution or project management within industrial environments.

• Experience supporting the installation, commissioning or start-up of industrial equipment.

• Understanding of industrial assembly and field service activities.

• Experience interacting directly with customers and managing technically or commercially complex conversations.

• Experience working across different industrial sectors such as Food, Energy, Water, Marine or similar industries is desirable.

• Knowledge of warranty or claims processes is considered a plus.

• A specialization, Master’s degree in Project Management or PMP certification is a plus.

• Intermediate to advanced English.
