Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from design and planning to execution and completion, ensuring it meets specified requirements, deadlines, and budget.
  • Ensuring technical specifications are met.
  • Working with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Identifying technical issues and reporting to the Project Manager, ensuring timely solutions to project challenges.
  • Ensuring that all project work is completed correctly, on time, and according to approved plans.
  • Supervises project activities, resources, and schedules, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and services required for project execution, soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, sub-contractors, vendors, assisting with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making as needed.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, preparing progress reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
  • Project Documentation: Reports, Scope of Work, Work Method Statement, work breakdown schedule, Work execution plan, Timesheets, Budget plans, Resources plan etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field.

  • 3–6years experience in project coordination or engineering project management.

  • Experience working in a mechanical engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical services environment is an advantage.
