Project Engineer

About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will execute service projects on Siemens Energy turbines, compressors and generators with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards while supporting specialized project teams. Siemens Energy provides Turnkey field service overhaul solutions, modernization and upgrades to ensure critical infrastructure remains reliable and efficient. What You'll Do

• Follow Siemens Energy procedures for Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Inspection and Finding reports (IFR), ensuring all protocols and forms are completed and signed.
• Provide on-site technical support for Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and Site Supervisors, ensuring quality documentation is correctly completed and data transferred to the master digital record.
• Collaborate with Siemens Energy technical leads and supervisors to make recommendations to the customer regarding findings or non-conformances, and secure agreement on actions.
• Raise IFRs for findings, ensure customer acknowledgment before rectification, and confirm corrective actions have ITPs and meet required standards.
• Supervise off-site work, ensure all Change Orders and Variations have ITPs, and confirm all ITPs and record sheets are signed off before commissioning works.
• Assist in preparing and implementing the project Quality Plan, ensuring all contractual and OEM requirements are met, and contribute to continuous improvement of site processes and digitalization initiatives. What We're Looking For
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Trade Certificate with relevant experience
• Good technical knowledge, ideally with exposure to rotating equipment
• Basic understanding of commercial and contractual matters
• Good customer service and relationship skills
• Able to work independently when required
• Detail-oriented with an understanding of processes and documentation; comfortable using English; full working rights in Australia required Nice to Have
