Summary: Supports the delivery of Microsoft data center construction and infrastructure projects, helping manage schedules, costs, resources, vendors, risks, safety, and technical requirements. Works with engineering, operations, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects aligned with Microsoft’s priorities for Safety, Security, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
Key responsibilities:
- Support data center construction and retrofit projects.
- Track project scope, schedules, budgets, KPIs, invoices, and progress.
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, and project meetings.
- Help manage resources, procurement, RFPs, and project approvals.
- Review technical designs and identify risks or gaps.
- Support safety, security, regulatory compliance, and audits.
- Monitor vendor/contractor performance.
- Develop risk metrics, dashboards, and mitigation activities.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions and data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years relevant experience.
- Preferred: 8+ years relevant experience and 7+ years of data center experience.
Work: Fully on-site | Travel
