Project Engineer

About the Role Project Engineer responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, leading a team of field and cost engineers, and serving as the main conduit of information between the construction manager and the team for cost, revenue, and cash flow information. What You'll Do

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of the project, including design schedule tracking and integration between disciplines
• Manage project revenue, costs, cash flow, and job cost tracking/forecasting
• Lead project engineering on moderately complex projects, including temporary engineering requirements
• Manage permanent design, quality control, and overall design coordination
• Administer and manage contracts and subcontracts, including responsibility for design subcontracts
• Assist in operations and production planning
• Train and support field and office engineers in accurate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Develop and implement project control plans
• Oversee and maintain the overall job schedule
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project closeout activities What We're Looking For
• Ability to travel
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ work experience in construction
• Experience managing engineers
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

• Base Compensation: $90,000/yr - $120,000/yr
