About this role
About the Role As an project engineer for Ganotec, an industrial contractor within Kiewit, you will be responsible for the technical aspects and construction progress of a project, including management and development of a field engineering team. You will act as the primary information conduit between the construction director and the team for project controls and technical clarifications. What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate project activities
- Manage project revenues, costs and cash flow
- Provide temporary engineering support as needed
- Ensure ongoing design management and quality control
- Manage project closeout and maintain strong client relationships
- Support operations planning
- Administer contracts and subcontracts What We're Looking For
- Travel capability
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in construction or engineering
- Experience managing engineers
- Ability to read, analyze and identify gaps in engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents
- Highly motivated with a commitment to excellence, ethics and safety
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who can work autonomously to meet deadlines
