About the Role Saylor Consulting Group is seeking a full-time Project Engineer in San Francisco to support our client San Francisco International Airport's Boarding Area G Gate Enhancements Contract as a member of the PMSS team. You will be involved in testing, commissioning and activation of technical systems onsite, including electrical, low-voltage, HVAC, jet bridge and plumbing systems. What You'll Do
- Input real-time project data into the Airport-provided Project Management System, Unifier, and perform quality control in Unifier real-time data entry to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining systems for the efficient distribution of project documents to the Design-Builder, external agencies, other City departments, and other stakeholders as directed.
- Assist in maintaining status logs of project documents, including design activities and status, RFIs, submittals, and substitution requests.
- Participate in the Structured Collaborative Partnering process described in the Delivering Exceptional Projects: Our Guiding Principles document.
- Assist in preparation of technical Cx specifications for incorporation into the Contract Documents by the design-builder, using templates provided in the CAS Standards.
- Perform technical reviews of project design documents.
- Leverage the expertise of various subject matter experts hired by the design-builder to commission the Sustainability and Airport systems through the CAS process.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Cx Plan(s) that identifies the equipment and systems required to be commissioned to proceed with Activation and Commissioning. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of recent construction experience and 5+ years of project engineering experience.
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems and design-build processes. Nice to Have
- Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Unifier. Compensation & Benefits
