About the Role Project Engineer - Extrusion is a hands-on engineering role focused on qualifying new extrusion tools/equipment and developing manufacturing standards for NPL, while driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements. The position collaborates with the Quality department to certify processes and supports plant-floor training as needed. What You'll Do
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment following all plant safety procedures.
- Assist in part design reviews with emphasis on extrusion processes.
- Qualify new extrusion tools/equipment and develop manufacturing standards for NPL.
- Continuously improve existing processes, products, and systems in a safe and efficient manner to meet and exceed goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with the quality department in certifying new and existing processes, as well as assist with training and supporting the plant floor.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and strong project organization.
