About this role
Essity is hiring a Project Engineer for its plant in Sahagún, Mexico. As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing capital investment (CAPEX) projects that support continuous improvement, safety, productivity and growth of the site's operations, with direct impact on plant efficiency and the business's strategic goals.
Responsibilities include end-to-end management of capital projects: planning, coordinating and executing investment projects from concept to close-out; managing budgets and monitoring costs to meet financial targets; coordinating closely with Production, Maintenance, Safety and external suppliers; supervising on-site installation, equipment modification and start-up; managing contractors to ensure compliance with standards; and overseeing project scope, risk and results.
