Job Summary

• The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, and delivering large-scale earthworks and civil infrastructure projects from mobilisation through completion while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, budget, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bulk earthworks, site grading, excavation, filling, compaction, drainage, and related civil works.
• Coordinate project planning, mobilisation, execution, and close-out activities.
• Lead site engineers, surveyors, QAQC personnel, HSE officers, foremen, and equipment operators.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and productivity targets.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
• Review drawings, reports, construction methodologies, and work programmes.
• Coordinate client, consultant, and contractor interactions.
• Ensure proper utilisation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
• Manage site resources, subcontractors, and project costs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Review and approve technical documentation, RFIs, and as-built records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale earthworks or civil infrastructure projects.

Technical Competencies:

• Earthworks quantity calculations.

• Site grading and level control.

• Project planning and scheduling.

• QAQC management.

• Cost control and resource planning.

• AutoCAD proficiency.

• MS Project and/or Primavera P6.

• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
