Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of design, construction, installation, and major maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, contractual, and HSSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project design, construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and manage Project Execution Plans (PEP), Scope of Work, Project Setup, Closeout, and Change Orders.
- Determine project manpower, equipment, and material requirements within approved budgets.
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, estimates, cost reports, forecasts, and schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments and prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
- Manage project cost, schedule, safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to resolve day-to-day project issues.
- Support bid proposals and pre-project activities.
- Obtain required permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
- Represent the Project Manager when required in client meetings and engagements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable HSSE standards and procedures.
HSSE Responsibilities:
- Promote safe work practices and ensure employees receive appropriate HSSE training.
- Monitor work locations for human, situational, and environmental hazards.
- Enforce the use of appropriate safety controls, guards, and work practices.
- Participate in safety committee activities and site safety initiatives.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections with the HSSE site team.
- Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate employee safety performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Engineering or Construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management principles, documentation, and planning.
- Significant experience in Installation Projects and the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Pipeline Maintenance, Commissioning, Installation, and Project Management.
- Strong understanding of project cost control, scheduling, quality, contracts, and HSSE.
- Excellent coordination, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
