This position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Mechanical 3D Design for customized solutions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Create and manage BOM (Bill of materials).
• Provide technical support to the production team.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor´s degree in mechanical, mechanical-electrical or related Engineering.
• 2-3 years experience in 3D mechanical design.
• Design software proficiency in Solid works (sheet metal), and AutoCAD.
• Excel (Macros) proficiency.
• SAP Proficiency.
• Advanced English.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate within cross-functional teams, negotiate successfully, and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
