Job title: Project Director - Construction
About the Role The CRB Project Director will lead end-to-end delivery of complex construction programs, reporting to the Director of Construction Leader. This role orchestrates execution strategy, risk, budgets, and client relations across a portfolio of projects, and supervises project staff and partners to ensure safe, on-time, and profitable outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects (Chartering, Safety, Design, Pre-Construction, Permitting, Construction, Document Control, Procurement, C&Q, Automation, Consulting) and oversee warranty.
- Develop and implement execution strategies; set up the project for success; reinforce CRB culture and core values; communicate with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, cost forecasting, and monthly financial/schedule reports; monitor KPI targets (Safety, Pre-Planning, Execution, Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Schedule, Profitability).
- Lead the CRB team and Owner through Business Case Alignment and Chartering; coordinate with preconstruction for constructability, procurement, logistics, scope reviews; maintain schedules.
- Build and lead a healthy, high-performing team; embody a One Team/Lean mindset; monitor team health; ensure standards of care and compliance with policies and laws.
- Ensure appropriate tools, systems, and best practices are used; oversee procurement planning, ETOP early planning, and closeout readiness; manage client relationships and resolve conflicts.
- Conduct regular KPI reviews with stakeholders and maintain positive client relationships; drive quality management and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, or engineering.
- 10+ years of AEC experience with strong project delivery and financial oversight.
- Leadership, team mentoring, and client management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- PMP or AEC P/DBIA certifications preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRB processes (PEP development, BEP, site requirements, permitting) and early procurement planning.
- Experience with pull planning and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $170,000-$230,000 per year; Hybrid; Full-time.
