About this role

Job title: Project Coordinator - Value and Access

About the Role

In this role, you will support the Value & Access business unit and individual client project teams through a varied combination of project coordination, scientific support and internal operational responsibilities. You will work closely with the V&A Team Heads, alongside V&A Project Managers, clients and colleagues across the business to help deliver high-quality work efficiently and on time.

Your key responsibilities will constitute a combination of internal team and business unit support, as well as project coordination and scientific support on client projects. The role offers broad exposure to project delivery, financial and resource planning, team operations and continuous improvement.

Team and Business Unit Responsibilities

You will contribute to the effective operation of the Value & Access business unit by:

  • Providing operational and project coordination for select key V&A Team-level initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and supporting timely communication and delivery of outputs
  • Coordinating regular team activities and processes relating to planning, meetings, onboarding, training and financials for the V&A teams
  • Providing pro-active and dedicated calendar management support to the UK V&A Team Heads
  • Supporting the delivery of team strategy meetings and other internal initiatives, including content coordination and follow-up actions
  • Working with colleagues to improve tools, systems and ways of working across V&A
  • Promoting effective and consistent use of the project accounting system amongst UK V&A Teams

Project Coordination and Scientific Responsibilities

You will also support directly on client projects, with project responsibilities varying according to team and client needs. You may support the following activities:

  • Providing planning and coordination support across client projects, including meetings, email correspondence, resource management and cross-team alignment
  • Supporting project finances and contracting activities, including invoice schedules, work-in-progress tracking and monthly profitability analysis
  • Coordinating client and cross-functional calls, including scheduling, agendas, minutes and action tracking
  • Updating data, running economic models and extracting outputs into relevant documents
  • Conducting literature searches and extracting information from relevant publications
  • Formatting publications for submission or resubmission, and preparing reference materials
  • Quality-controlling deliverables and supporting accurate, compliant submission processes

What is the Difference Between the V&A Project Coordinator and an Analyst Role?

While Project Coordinators and Analysts may work at a similar level of responsibility, their day-to-day focus differs. Analysts typically undertake detailed scientific research and analysis to develop client deliverables. The V&A Project Coordinator combines scientific support with project management, administration and internal operational coordination, helping teams deliver high-quality work on time and work efficiently across projects and business unit activities.
