Job title: Project Coordinator (Transformational Youth Hub)

About the Role The Project Coordinator will fill a .5 FTE position to provide leadership to the Transformational Youth Hub, including conducting regional needs assessments, identifying resources across fundamental needs (housing, food, clothing), mental health resources, civic engagement opportunities, and connecting with natural supports, and deploying the resources of the specialists under the direction of the NYSED Office of Special Education, as well as overseeing the peer mentor program.

What You'll Do

• Provide systems-change leadership and respond to directives from the NYS Department of Justice, ensuring alignment with DOJ priorities.
• Organize and offer professional development for school personnel, recreation/sports centers staff, families, and clergy.
• Oversee the peer mentoring program, including recruitment, procedures, schedules, and evaluation.
• Participate in regional planning with the Department of Justice; implement evaluation procedures for all project aspects.
• Facilitate quarterly advisory board meetings (set agenda, collect feedback, and integrate insights).
• Provide staffing updates at RLT monthly meetings and submit staffing change documents to the OSE mailbox.
• Collaborate with partners to streamline resources, allocate funds, and prepare accountability reports.
• Conduct needs assessments with community-based organizations to identify high-need delivery areas.
• Prepare quarterly logs and expenditure reports within 30 days after each quarter.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree (minimum).
• Expertise in systems change using implementation science principles.
• Experience delivering professional development and/or technical assistance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general computer literacy.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for engagement with families, school/agency personnel, and NYS Department of Justice personnel.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 per year; part-time (.5 FTE); Exempt.
