Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy

Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets

Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution

Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline

Manage problems and schedule changes

Update ERP system

Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures

Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters

Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement

Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work

Very good written and oral English skills
