Project Assistant
Description
- We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment across school sites in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will help complete on-site furniture reviews by visiting multiple campuses each day, documenting findings on a tablet, and maintaining an organized pace throughout the project. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is dependable, comfortable working in active environments, and able to adapt to changing daily site assignments.
Responsibilities

Visit assigned school campuses throughout Palo Alto, California and assist with project activities at multiple locations each day.

Review furniture at each site, record observations accurately, and help maintain consistent inventory documentation.

Use an iPad to complete assessments, enter required information, and support organized data capture during fieldwork.

Travel with the assigned team between campuses and contribute to completing scheduled site visits efficiently.

Participate in daily check-ins with supervisors before departing to designated school locations.

Remain active throughout the workday, including frequent walking across school grounds and between work areas.

Follow project instructions carefully while representing the team professionally at each campus.

Use provided equipment, including a tablet and safety vest, in accordance with site expectations and project needs.

Comfortable using tablets or iPads to enter information and complete on-site assessments.

Able to walk for extended periods and work in a physically active environment throughout the day.

Available to work the required hours for the duration of this five-day project assignment.

Willing to report to different school sites on a rotating daily schedule.

Detail-oriented approach with practical attire suitable for active fieldwork, including comfortable shoes and pants.

Strong attention to detail when recording inventory and assessment information.

Able to follow timelines, stay organized, and support project completion across multiple locations.
