Project Assistant We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a short-term contract assignment across school sites in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will help document and evaluate furniture assets at multiple campuses, using a tablet to capture accurate information throughout the day. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in an active environment with frequent movement between locations.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned school campuses in Palo Alto, California and support daily project activities at multiple sites
- Review furniture items on location and record assessment details accurately using an iPad
- Move through classrooms, offices, and common areas to help complete inventory tracking across each campus
- Meet with project leads at the beginning of each workday and follow site assignments as directed
- Rotate between different schools during the day to maintain project timelines and coverage needs
- Handle client-provided equipment responsibly, including tablets and safety gear, while following onsite expectations
- Comfortable using tablets or iPads to enter and review information
- Able to remain active throughout the day and walk for extended periods
- Capable of working at different school locations as assignments change daily
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions in a fast-moving project setting
- Detail-oriented with practical work attire, including comfortable shoes and pants
- No prior experience required; equivalent to 0+ years of experience
