Project Assistant
We are looking for a dependable Project Assistant to support a short-term contract assignment across school sites in Gainesville, Florida. This Contract position focuses on visiting multiple campuses to document and evaluate furniture using a client-provided iPad while working as part of a larger field team. The role is well suited to someone who is organized, comfortable with mobile technology, and able to stay active throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned school campuses each day and support on-site project activities across multiple locations
- Review furniture at each site and record assessment details accurately using a tablet device
- Move efficiently between buildings and campuses while maintaining productivity throughout the day
- Participate in daily team check-ins before heading to designated school assignments
- Help organize and complete inventory-related tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Follow supervisor direction closely and provide clear updates on completed work
- Handle client-issued equipment responsibly, including an iPad and safety vest
- Contribute to a fast-moving field project that may involve visiting several schools in a single day
