About the Role Our client is seeking a Project Assistant to support day-to-day operations for a busy construction project team in Texas. This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced site environment, keeps teams organized, and balances administrative coordination with responsive support to ensure project staff, visitors, and vendors receive attentive assistance throughout the project lifecycle. What You'll Do
- Support daily office operations for the construction site team by handling administrative activities that keep project work moving efficiently.
- Deliver courteous and attentive assistance to team members, clients, vendors, and visitors while responding to general questions and escalating issues when needed.
- Prepare and submit expense documentation for project leadership, ensuring records are accurate and completed on time.
- Coordinate project logistics such as calendars, meeting spaces, seating plans, parking or access credentials, and other site-based administrative resources.
- Arrange travel plans, lodging, schedules, and related materials for project staff and leadership as required.
- Organize meetings from start to finish, including scheduling, agenda support, room setup, note-taking, and distribution of meeting summaries.
- Maintain orderly project files and records, support document retrieval, and help keep office supplies stocked for daily site needs.
- Assist with onboarding, site orientation, visitor procedures, special events, and occasional technical support coordination for issues affecting workplace productivity.
- Contribute ideas that improve administrative processes and provide flexible support for additional project-related assignments as needed. What We're Looking For
- Experience providing administrative support in a project-based office or construction environment.
- Strong ability to manage timelines, coordinate multiple priorities, and stay organized in a fast-moving setting.
- Proficiency in scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and arranging travel or event logistics.
- Skilled in file organization, document handling, scanning, and maintaining accurate administrative records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented customer service approach.
- Ability to work effectively with project managers, executives, vendors, and cross-functional site teams.
- Comfort supporting basic office technology coordination and resolving routine productivity issues with the appropriate teams. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 23 - 24 USD per hour.
