About this role
About the Role You’ll support Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects as a Project Accountant, helping set up projects in Vantagepoint, manage revenue recognition, invoicing, WIP, and contracts across multiple client engagements. You’ll collaborate with project managers, billers, and finance to ensure accurate financials and compliant processes. What You'll Do
- Setup new projects in Vantagepoint and process change orders, including project setup calls with PMs and billers
- Ensure correct revenue recognition at all levels; establish Target ELM with PMs
- Review vendor invoices, code consultant/subcontractor costs, and set up contracts/projects/tasks in accounting software
- Produce and process draft invoices for Principals/PMs in line with client requirements
- Manage outstanding receivables and WIP; follow up with project Principals/PMs
- Submit contracts requiring certified payroll reporting; close contracts and coordinate revenue recognition with PMs & Finance Manager
- Upload information for audits and coordinate COI with insurance brokers for new and existing projects
- Collaborate with PMs to process adjustments and work with regional managers on contracts, WIP, receivables, and resources
- On-board new employees and train on timesheets and expense reporting
- Assist regional managers with proposals related to hourly rates; support standardization of processes with VP, Operations Controller and Finance Manager
- Support FAR audits and monthly close; respond to ad hoc requests from regional managers, Finance Manager, Operations or F&A
- Work with a flexible mix of remote, onsite, or Accenture office/center locations What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of professional services invoicing experience with Deltek Vision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time-management skills
- Experience in construction or engineering industry
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business-related field (bonus) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 50,000 - 80,000 per year
