Job title: Programmeur Commandes Numériques (H/F)

About the Role Develop, optimize and maintain CNC machining programs for railway components (frames, mechanical parts) in an industrial environment that demands high quality, safety, traceability and technological innovation. You will contribute to ALSTOM's manufacturing excellence and digital transformation while ensuring compliance with railway standards and international norms.

What You'll Do

  • Create CNC machining programs from plans provided by Methods/Engineering teams for rolling stock components
  • Create the 3D methods necessary to implement machining programs
  • Integrate precision, reliability and durability requirements specific to rail applications, in compliance with ALSTOM standards and international norms (quality, safety, compliance)
  • Consider constraints: railway materials (double-skin aluminium profiles), large-scale parts, tight tolerances, functional safety requirements
  • Validate trajectories, tools, cutting parameters and inspection plan to ensure robustness aligned with ALSTOM operational excellence standards
  • Propose improvements (cycle-time reduction, tool optimization, automation)
  • Participate in shop trials with operators and technicians
  • Provide operational support: respond to CNC operator requests and resolve technical issues in workshop
  • Attend daily production briefings with the production teams; coordinate with production, quality, industrialization, supply chain and engineering
  • Contribute to digital transformation: deployment of industrial digital solutions (automation, robotics, digital platforms, flow optimization)
  • Ensure program compatibility with supervision, traceability and maintenance systems
  • Maintain complete traceability of programs; archiving, versioning, updating programs and associated documentation
  • Strictly adhere to quality, safety references, ALSTOM processes and customer requirements (SNCF, RATP, international networks)

What We're Looking For

  • Mastery of machining industry
  • Mastery of Siemens CNC programming language
  • Mastery of CAD tools (CATIA)
  • Proficiency in reading complex mechanical drawings and railway documents
  • Knowledge of railway materials and machining processes
  • Rigorous, autonomous, detail-oriented
  • Team-oriented collaboration with production, engineering, methods and maintenance
  • Ability to document and respect railway quality processes
  • Proactivity and continuous improvement culture
  • Communication / pedagogy
