Full-time

About this role

SFH's strategic focus includes Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Family Planning (FP), Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), and Nutrition programming, with emphasis on transitioning from direct implementation to technical assistance that strengthens government health systems and builds sustainable capacity. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and strategic positioning of A360's SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition portfolio while supporting national and subnational governments to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services that improve health outcomes for women, newborns, children, and adolescents. Additionally, the role provides strategic leadership and oversight to A360’s overall operations, ensuring seamless programme management.

The Technical Lead provides strategic technical leadership, oversight, and coordination for A360's comprehensive SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition programming. The position holder serves as the primary technical advisor to government partners at federal and state levels, ensuring that the project's technical assistance strengthens health systems, improves quality of care, builds sustainable capacity, and advances evidence-based practices across the reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition continuum. The role requires a highly experienced clinician (Nurse/Midwife with 12+ years’ experience or Medical Doctor with 9+ years RH experience) who can combine deep programmatic and technical expertise with strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and systems to drive program quality, government ownership, and sustainable impact.
