About the Role Join Motorola Solutions' Software Deployment and Integration services team as a Program Manager for the West Coast Region in US Remote. You will lead large, complex programs up to $10M for public safety customers, delivering Command Center projects (CAD, Mobile, Records Management, Crime Analysis, Jail), Video, Emergency Call Handling/Next Gen 911, Asset Management Solutions and related applications. What You'll Do
- Lead large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.
- Direct and coordinate the work activities of project teams; people management experience required; may supervise other PMs or technical staff.
- Manage cross-disciplinary resources within projects; primary interface to internal teams; manage vendor relationships as needed.
- Communicate with key customer stakeholders; collaborate with Sales on overall strategy to increase revenue.
- Conduct needs assessments and requirements gathering; define program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics.
- Manage projects from inception to completion (or transition); track performance; ensure adherence to program plan, quality metrics and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate risks; develop and implement risk mitigation plans; procure internal and external resources; allocate staff with required competencies.
- Lead and participate in moderately complex communications/negotiations with clients; contribute to proposals, SOWs and cost estimates; drive process improvements; conduct reviews and capture lessons learned.
- Create a motivated team environment with cross-functional resources; utilize best-practice PM methodologies; ensure resources align with financial and customer satisfaction goals.
- Travel up to 75% and work remotely from the United States. What We're Looking For
- Remote position based in the United States; willing to travel (up to 75%).
- 5+ years of Public Safety and Project Management experience deploying complex deployments for State and Local public safety agencies; ability to obtain background clearance.
- Prior people management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools; experience with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated team player; able to work with general guidance toward objectives.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and CJIS Security and Privacy Privileged Role certification requirements. Nice to Have

- Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD annually. Actual offer based on knowledge, skills and experience.
