Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Program Manager for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. They discover great places nearby as a travel guide company available in 43 markets and 22 languages.

You'll join the team on a 6-month contract basis. You’ll provide temporary program management support across regulatory and compliance initiatives spanning payments, tax, platform regulation, and related workstreams, including support for the Viator brand. This is a hands-on program management role focused on keeping complex, cross-functional initiatives organized, prioritized, and moving toward regulatory deadlines. This position will coordinate stakeholders and program delivery but will not be responsible for making legal or regulatory determinations.

Requirements

• Experience managing large-scale regulatory or compliance programs, such as KYC/KYB implementations or regulatory remediation initiatives.
• Strong project and program management skills, including process mapping, requirements documentation, and gap analysis.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams within a complex organization.
• Ability to bring structure, clarity, and clear next steps to ambiguous or evolving initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with senior-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand regulatory requirements in the context of broader business objectives.
• Familiarity with payments regulation, licensing, KYC/AML, or safeguarding of client funds is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the compliance program tracker, including priorities, owners, status, risks, dependencies, and next steps.

• Lead coordination of key regulatory initiatives, including payments-related compliance projects.

• Oversee progress across multiple compliance workstreams and identify risks, blockers, and resourcing gaps.

• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Payments, Trust & Safety, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare concise status updates and recommendations for senior leadership.

• Support vendor evaluations, impact assessments, and option analysis as needed.

• Identify project dependencies and escalate timeline, prioritization, or regulatory risks early.

• Maintain clear documentation and support a smooth handoff at the end of the engagement.
