Job title: Program Manager, Product Legal
About the Role As a Program Manager for Product Legal at Databricks, you will sit at the intersection of data/AI innovation, software engineering, and global compliance. You will act as the operational backbone for the Product Legal Program, reporting to the Director & Assistant General Counsel, Product. Your primary mission is to support the Product Legal team as they advise Engineering and Product teams on compliance for our global software offerings. This is a highly independent role designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate across engineering, product, and compliance to drive delivery of the Product Legal program.
- Serve as the operational backbone for cross-functional initiatives, processes, and milestones.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure compliance for our global software offerings across regions.
- Work with the Director & Assistant General Counsel, Product to scale and improve Product Legal programs and reporting.
- Own programs, track progress, communicate status, and remove blockers to enable timely legal reviews and approvals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in program management within a legal, compliance, or cross-functional product/engineering context.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Legal, Engineering, and Product teams across geographies on compliance for global software.
- Strong organizational skills, process-minded approach, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and regulatory landscape impacting software products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
