Job title: Program Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Program Manager with excellent communication and people skills and a proven background in managing a satellite ground segment program. The role combines bid development, customer liaison, cost/schedule management, and team leadership to deliver successful space programs while balancing customer needs with company objectives.

What You'll Do

• Develops bids and proposals, including customer liaison, solution, cost estimation, and review.
• Negotiates with the Customer to agree on key requirements, funding, resources, and methods, balancing budget and schedule with company interests.
• Provides guidance, direction, and decision-making to the program team.
• Maintains program visibility at the Customer level through regular technical, management, and progress meetings.
• Maintains detailed program schedules, tracks progress, assesses costs-to-date and estimates-to-complete, and develops workaround plans as required to meet objectives.
• Ensures staffing levels and competencies match program needs, and coordinates resources with line managers and other programs as needed.
• Develops a cadre of capable subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with the supply chain to meet life-of-program requirements.
• Identifies and manages program risks and opportunities.
• Maintains hands-on control of the program through regular program reviews, staff meetings, and senior management briefings as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years’ experience of program/project management or leadership in related technical field.
• Experience with negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, financials, US ITAR regulations.
• Excellent people and leadership skills.
• Travel required.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $113,000 - $156,000 annually. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health care (extended healthcare and flexible drug plans), dental and vision, disability income protection, life insurance, group retirement savings plans, and an employee and family assistance program.
