COMPENSATION: $77 - $87 HOURLY
Role Overview
The Global Legal Operations and Strategy (GLOS) team is seeking a Legal Project Manager to provide temporary coverage for an approved leave. This role supports high-priority cross-legal programs and initiatives, including legal matter budget tracking, documentation governance, and status reporting to legal leadership. The contractor will partner with internal legal teams, outside counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain program continuity and ensure deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities

Support high-priority X-Legal programs and initiatives.

Manage legal matter budget tracking and reporting.

Oversee documentation and file structure governance.

Provide recurring status reporting to Legal leadership.

Partner with internal Legal teams, Outside Counsel (OC), and cross-functional stakeholders.

Maintain program continuity and manage and analyze data.

Keep documentation current and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications
-
Education: A bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 2 years supporting a legal function in an in-house legal department or law firm. This must include demonstrated ownership of budget tracking and reporting, such as actuals versus budget, bottoms-up estimates, and variance reporting. Experience building and maintaining program documentation, trackers, and workback plans for multiple concurrent workstreams, including direct stakeholder coordination, is also required.

Familiarity with litigation and complex litigation structures.

Experience coordinating with Outside Counsel and familiarity with fee arrangements.

Comfort with AI-enabled productivity tooling and document/workflow automation.
