About the Role Amazon is seeking a business-oriented Program Manager for the GOES (Global Ops Enterprise Services) Infrastructure Program Management Office to support capacity, capital planning and project execution for the continued expansion of our EU fulfillment network. The role requires ownership, collaboration across locations, and a strong PM background to understand Amazon Fulfillment Center design, startup, modeling, estimating, and ongoing capital projects. What You'll Do
- Work with internal Amazon teams and external partners to deliver CAPEX projects and innovations.
- Serve as a governance facilitator, maintaining structure, procedures and standard ways of working with a common language for project and program delivery.
- Develop and implement unified platform tools, information systems, and leverage analytics and data visualization to support reporting and decision-making.
- Develop, evaluate and simplify current working procedures and improve organizational team structure.
- Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision-making, and assist with requests.
- Lead critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
- Assist in engineering capacity management.
- Understand operational processes. What We're Looking For
- Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Nice to Have
- 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
